These heavy duty 10 mL PYREX® conical centrifuge tubes are made with increased wall thickness for greater mechanical strength. In order to conform to outside diameter and overall length limitations imposed by centrifuge rotors and supports, it has been necessary to reduce the capacity of these heavy duty tubes. The10 mL tube is graduated with durable white enamel upward from the tip in 0.1 mL divisions. The phenolic 15-415 GPI threaded screw cap is fabricated of a resin which is specially formulated to resist the effects of temperature and steam. For replacement caps, see No. 9999.
Product Family Description:
Constructed of heavy wall glass for greater mechanical strength. Graduations are with durable white enamel. The 10 mL size is graduated upward from tip in 0.1 mL increments. The 40 mL size is graduated in 0.5 mL increments to 10 mL, and from 10 mL to 40 in 1 mL increments. Tubes are fitted with a phenolic screw cap.
