The tubes are designed to withstand centrifugation up to 3,000 RCF and are packed in convenient, easy to use packs, which are shrink-sealed for protection during shipment. For reusable phenolic screw caps with white rubber liners, see No. 9999-152, for reusable phenolic screw caps with Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) faced rubber liners see No. 9998-15, for disposable phenolic screw cap with rubber liner, see No. 99999-15.

These 15 mL PYREX® conical centrifuge tubes have white enamel graduations for durability. The 15 mL size is graduated upward from the tip in 0.1 mL divisions. The 50 mL size is graduated upward from tip to 10 mL in 0.5 mL divisions, and from 10 to 50 mL in 1 mL divisions. The phenolic 15-415 GPI threaded screw cap is fabricated of a resin which is specially formulated to resist the effects of temperature and steam. Caps have a glued-in, white rubber liner. These heavy duty 40 mL PYREX® conical centrifuge tubes are made with increased wall thickness for greater mechanical strength. In order to conform to outside diameter and overall length limitations imposed by centrifuge rotors and supports, it has been necessary to reduce the capacity of these heavy duty tubes. The 40 mL tube is graduated with durable white enamel in 0.5 mL divisions to 10 mL, and from 10 to 40 mL in 1 mL divisions. The phenolic 24-400 GPI threaded screw cap is fabricated of a resin which is specially formulated to resist the effects of temperature and steam. For replacement caps, see No. 9999.
