A time tested, basic model designed for low volume cutting of small diameter, thin wall tubings and small profile solids. Ideal for laboratory, home or low production applications, Can be easily connected to use laboratory faucets and drain for water supply.

The machine is designed for high-quality cutting and incorporates a bearing mounted, rocker-type carriage to carry material into cut-off wheel. Flip-back hood allows easy access to change cut-off wheel. Precision machined 4-5/8" diameter brass flanges assure smooth, accurate cuts.

Machine base doubles as water coolant discharge tank. Drain is located on back side of base. All machine componets are constructed of corrosion-proof materials. Adjustable coolant sprayers are located on each side of the cutting wheel to provide maximum coolant at the point of cutting.

Standard motor provided is 1/3 horsepower, totally enclosed fan cooled, with built-in automatic thermal overload. The motor is rated for continuous duty and is equipped with double sealed ball bearings on the arbor. Standard spindle speed is 1725 RPM.

This coolant system frees the bench model from connections to a fixed water supply and drain. Can be used at any location where 115 volt, 1 phase, electrics are available..

OPTIONAL, SELF CONTAINED, RECIRCULATING WATER COOLANT SYSTEM FOR BENCH MODEL GC12B ONLY.

System includes a 5 gallon polyethylene tank with a clear plastic splash cover, 1/40th horsepower submersible pump rated at 5.4 gallons per minute, with cord and plug. All connecting hoses, fittings, hose clamps and flow valve are included. Suitable for use with mild acids and alkalies.

For 115 volts, single phase, 60 Hz.
