 Detergent 8® Cleaning Compound
An alkaline liquid, low-foaming
detergent, which has been specially formulated to remove oils, resins, rosins
and other difficult soils from hard surfaces. Detergent 8 can be used at
moderate concentrations of approximately 2-5% and at moderate temperatures
(120-150°F). Detergent 8 is ideally suited to clean rosins and fluxes from
soldered circuit boards. It is non-corrosive to circuit board materials and
rinses away to leave boards mirror bright. Detergent 8 has low odor, and is
nonflammable and non-corrosive. It is biodegradable with both plant and local
sewage systems. Also excellent for cleaning phosphate sensitive analytical
labware and nuclear contaminated equipment during outages. For manual,
ultrasonic and machine washers. Biodegradable and exceptionally free rinsing. As
used, contains less than 0.002% sodium, calcium, magnesium or potassium.
